Pirate party launches new Caribbean menu T.G.I. Friday’s is hosting free pirate parties to launch its new Caribbean menu, 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 1 at 591 West Big Beaver in Troy. Activities will include live calypso bands, free tastes of the new Caribbean menu, pirate trivia contest for a chance to win prizes and an appearance by radio station 89X at the Troy event and HOT 102.7 at the Livonia store from 4 to 6 p.m., both locations. Annual Michigan Energy Fair moves to Rock Financial Showplace The Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association is holding the fifth annual Michigan Energy Fair June 25-June 27 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi.
