The Oxford Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first annual Chamber and Community Dinner and Awards Gala at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15.
A buffet style dinner will be served followed by desserts and the awards ceremony. Tickets are $15.

WYCD Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon raises over $330,000
Capping off its 11th year, the WYCD Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon, held Dec. 9 and 10 raised $338,700 — nearly $50,000 more than in 2009 — for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Over the past decade, WYCD Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon has raised more than $5.5 million from listeners’ donations, benefitting the hospital that treats children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
