Newspapers host free search engine marketing workshop

Free online and search engine marketing workshop is Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Courtyard Marriott Auburn Hills, 1296 Opdyke Road, Auburn Hills. There are three times available: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 2 to 3:30 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The workshop offers information on search engine optimization and improving websites. It is hosted by The Oakland Press, The Macomb Daily, The Daily Tribune, Advisor Source and The Voice Newspapers

Firm brokers sales of industrial buildings

 L. Mason Capitani, a Troy-based real estate brokerage firm, announced the recent sale of three Macomb County industrial properties to local firms.
L. Mason Capitani brokered the sale of two buildings consisting of 53,366 square feet on Industrial Drive in St. Clair Shores to GTJ Consulting. GTJ is relocating its corporate headquarters to the location.
The firm brokered the sale of an 18,476-square-foot industrial building on Shafer Street in Romeo to Express Gage. Express Gauge specializes in engineering, manufacturing, quality and certification of checking fixtures, models and tooling for all industries. The company is expanding its Sterling Heights operations to Romeo. The firm also brokered the sale of a 13,356 square-foot building on Yearago Drive in Sterling Heights to Ultimate Hydroform. Ultimate Hydroform plans to expand its presence by adding another building near its headquarters in Sterling Heights.

Infinity Primary Care Joins Henry Ford Physician Network

 Infinity Primary Care, a group of 52 family and internal medicine physicians located in Brighton, Canton, Livonia, Novi and West Bloomfield, has joined the Henry Ford Physician Network.

Kevin Deighton, M.D., president of Infinity Primary Care, is serving as the Regional Care Collaborative Medical Director for the network in Oakland County. As part of that role, he will also join the Henry Ford Physician Network board of directors.
He is the medical director for Livonia Family Practice and program director for the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Livingston Family Medicine Residency Program.
Initial plans are for the Henry Ford network and Infinity to partner with Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital on programs focused on quality and efficiency, such as improving care for patients with diabetes and reducing patient readmissions.
The Henry Ford Physician Network is a physician-led partnership and includes the Henry Ford Medical Group.

UHY partner named to board

Steven P. McCarty, a partner at UHY LLP in Sterling Heights, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Employer Services Assurance Corporation. He will serve as professional advisory director, where he will be responsible for acting as the board’s accounting resource. The designation of professional advisory director is new for 2011 and McCarty is one of the first technical accounting experts to be appointed to the board as a professional resource.
McCarty is a managing director of UHY Advisors MI Inc. and is a member of the firm’s transaction service group and audit and assurance department.

Previous owner Don Knapke and his entire staff will be staying on with North Bloomfield Properties in order to ease the transition. “Acquiring ShareNet has broadened our base of operations in Southeast Michigan, as well as combining the talents of North Bloomfield Properties and ShareNet for over 50 years of property management experience.
